And you get a load of attachments and cleaning heads to assist you in the process. These include a wand, powered roller brushes, crevice tool, and a dusting brush.
Charging your cordless vacuum is easy. A wall-mounted docking station minimizes space used. Dyson has further upped the ante with a much improved cyclonic suction system. Re-engineering it was a smart move, as the debris and dust that it is able to pick up is a huge advantage.
While it’s true that there are newer models available, the resulting price drop gives it the edge. And it’s a Dyson, after all – it’s going to perform while maintaining their signature high quality.

The addition of Dyson’s Dynamic Load Sensor makes a huge difference in performance. The DSL constantly senses the area you are sweeping. Then, it automatically adjusts its power accordingly. If you start on a hardwood floor, for example, the Dyson will lower its power. When you sweep over a rug or carpeting it will ramp up the power. Gone is the hassle of switching back and forth.

As an entry-level cordless vacuum model, the MOOSOO K17 knocks it out of the park. While less than other entries, its half-hour run-time is adequate. It’s lighter than most models and includes plenty of cleaning attachments. A 10-inch cleaning path ensures less work when vacuuming open areas. And a convenient handheld mode assists with the smaller chores.
Costing much less than other entries, it would be reasonable to expect some setbacks. But with such smooth operation and nifty features, there isn’t much to gripe about. Sure, its dust bin is a bit small and you can only charge the battery when mounted to the vacuum. But these are minor quibbles that in no way detract from its performance.
It’s a quiet, competent, and highly-affordable machine. A bright LED lights up your path while including the best cleaning tools. With a motor rated at 200 watts, it’s powerful enough to hang with the competition. Its nylon bristles are great for preventing heavy debris from getting stuck. And with an improved airflow system, you won’t see any dips in power.
Several factors come into play that makes the K17’s usability a breeze. It has a compact and versatile design with powerful suction. And it weighs under three pounds, making stairs and other once-difficult tasks a piece of cake. A smaller dust bin requires you to empty waste often, but this in no way detracts from its operation.
A great alternative for the budget-minded. The Gtech AirRam motor gets an upgrade with the new MK2 model. This allows for easier use with an improved suction system and better battery life. A collapsible handle lets you store your vacuum without hogging up a lot of space.
At a little under eight pounds, this one is a bit heavier than other cordless models. You’ll find that its base is a bit larger, as well. It looks more like a conventional bag vacuum cleaner. But its low design allows for easier reach under shallow furniture. It also sports a bright LED headlight for hard-to-see areas in your home.
Battery life is exceptional. You won’t find yourself needing to charge often. And coupled with a powerful motor, sweeping is smooth and uninterrupted. Rocks, dirt, small sticks, and other stubborn debris pick up with ease.
Unfortunately, the MK2 does not come with extra attachments. If you want those you’re going to have to buy them separately. It’s a very affordable machine for what it offers. But the attachments’ extra cost may negate its lower price point.
Also lacking is the option to switch over to a handheld mode. If this is important to you, look elsewhere. The MK2’s ability to reach under difficult areas kind of makes up for that. But a lack of crevice tools and the like doesn’t help matters.
Without a locking power switch, the MK2 needs its trigger continually pressed in. While this does help to conserve battery life, some users may find this to be a hassle. There is a trade-off in storage size by having a bigger form factor. But its sweeping power is hard to match, making cleaning floors much less of a chore.
Another excellent alternative to Dyson’s V10 or V11. The Tineco A11 Master has two batteries that give you nearly an hour of continuous use. It has a sleek, stylish, and compact design. A smart form factor allows for quick breakdown. This lets you store your vacuum without hogging up a lot of closet or pantry space. It also allows you to easily switch over to handheld mode.
The A11 Master+ is quiet during operation; even on its maximum setting. On normal speed, its powerful suction system is great on carpeting. But it struggles a bit on hardwood floors. You can remedy this by increasing the power setting. But you can expect this to decrease the battery’s life. The difference, however, is negligible.
Included are 13 attachments and accessories that serve to make cleaning a snap. This gives you the ability to clean hard-to-reach places in your home and vehicle. The A11 gets deep into carpeting quite like no other, but leaves a bit to be desired when it comes to hard surface areas.
A nice convenience is the ability to charge one of its two batteries while sweeping. Simply insert one in the provided docking station to give you continuous run-time.
This entry is one of the less costly on our list. There are still some great qualities here, but also some less desirable ones. It touts a 35-minute run-time, but this is when running on the lowest setting. On the highest level, you’re looking at around 18 minutes.
This may not be enough if you have a lot of square feet to cover in your home. You’ll have to stop and recharge before picking up where you left off. If your home has a smaller cleaning area, this may be the best option for you.
It has many of the same features as high-end models but at a fraction of the cost. Power is a bit lower but, again, if you don’t have a lot of ground to cover, it becomes a moot point. Hard-to-reach areas are now easy to maintain. And it being lightweight only makes cleaning easier.

Shark has implemented some unique features. But most people are going to want this model for its hair pickup alone. Brush rolls won’t need replacing after large tangles, and for some, that is worth its weight in gold.
Nothing quite beats the Shark’s ability to grab hair off of the floor. But when it comes to maneuverability, there are other models that operate easier. No bracket for hanging is also a bummer, so expect this unit to take up some closet or pantry real estate.
Quite possibly the longest-running and most powerful of vacuums on our list. The Shark ION F80 is a curious model. It is well-priced and offers some great features. But a clunky and heavy design detracts from its performance.
By far its greatest advantage is in the run-time. It is capable of running for up to 80 minutes! You won’t find yourself needing to constantly charge this one. But you will be emptying its small dust bin pretty often. It also lacks the much-loved feature of being able to stand upright on its own.
These faults aside, the suction power found on the Shark ION is second to none. It is capable of handling heavy debris with ease. Switching between surface areas is a single button press away. And its two included batteries ensure you’ll never be short on power.
While the ION F80 works fine on lower power settings, it tends to bog down on anything higher. This can be mighty troublesome if you have thicker carpeting in your home. Its bulky build quality only makes matters worse, as you may find yourself worn out from use. But if your surfaces aren’t an issue, its run-time will provide you with all you need and more.
Built with simplicity in mind, the Orfeld 2-in-1 is an affordable option. It has impressive suction power and is versatile enough to handle many surfaces. The Orfeld is great for getting under beds and low furniture. And it can clean your ceiling and light fixtures just as easily.
Its normal and turbo modes serve to give you the flexibility you need for every task in your home. A powerful motor picks up even the most stubborn hair and dirt. LED lights further help with the cleanup, as does an easy-to-empty dust bin.
This Orfeld is a great alternative to some of the higher-priced units available. But there is going to be a trade-off, particularly when it comes to battery life. Turbo mode will sap it in no time flat, so keep this in mind if you have a larger area to clean.
While the battery life is much lower than others, its handheld feature makes up for it. Lightweight and compact, you’ll now be able to get to areas that were once too difficult.
Cleaning the many surfaces in your home is easy due to Orfeld’s compact and lightweight form factor. You don’t need much effort to maneuver this model. And its versatile design will have you cleaning areas you never dreamed possible.
The least expensive of any entry, the Hikeren offers a pretty standard design. But it has a handy detachable mini-vac for getting to those hard-to-reach areas of your home or vehicle. Resembling a traditional vacuum cleaner, it isn’t quite as compact as other models. But don’t let its design fool you; it is lightweight and even offers a handheld mode.
Further impressive is the charging time. At only 2.5 hours, it edges out higher-end models. Power isn’t anything to sneeze at, either. It’s able to pick up rocks, small sticks, paper, and best of all, dog hair.
If you don’t mind the larger form factor and storage space isn’t an issue, consider giving Hikeren a try. But there are a few issues most users agree on. For one, there’s a lot of broken English in the instructions. So you may want to check online for help. Secondly, the Hikeren 2-in-1 has a lower build quality than other models. And lastly, it doesn’t have a very lengthy run-time.
While it’s true that this model is great for picking up debris, its construction leaves a little to be desired. Its swivel feature can sometimes get stuck in certain positions. Yet at only 5.5 pounds, the Hireken is easy enough to maneuver around your house with little effort.
