As one of the highest-quality airsoft gun manufacturers, Lancer Tactical knows how to deliver an effective weapon. Whether you’re playing competitively or shooting targets, the Interceptor SPR is built to impress.
This lightweight rifle is chock-full of features that will serve you well in any capacity. Weighing in at 4.3 pounds, the Interceptor SPR is easy to handle and won’t bog you down. Running low on ammunition won’t be a concern thanks to its 300-round magazine.
You can set how you shoot, too. The Interceptor SPR is capable of firing in either semi-automatic or fully-automatic mode. The airsoft BBs are fired at a speed of 400 feet per second. This rifle feels great to hold and is comfortable to carry.
It’s very lightweight and shoots so well that we found it to greatly improve our game. The materials used in its construction are excellent. This rifle is lightweight, sure, but it feels heavy-duty. It is solid as can be and helps add a layer of realism.
All in all, this is a great piece of equipment that Lancer Tactical has produced. The only thing we didn’t care for was its overheating. After you’ve fired the gun for so long, the handle begins to heat up.
This is due to the Interceptor’s battery being stored there. We found that the semi-automatic mode doesn’t overheat as quickly, though. After firing for several minutes, you’ll begin to notice it getting warm, so use caution if playing for long periods.
We loved the accuracy of the Interceptor SPR. Shooting this rifle was a dream come true. We’ve always wanted an affordable option that was lightweight but sturdy. Lancer Tactical delivers on both and then some.
Just like we mentioned with Umarex’s Walther P99, the Colt 1911 features excellent blowback capabilities. When firing, we were truly impressed by how well the gun feels. This is due largely to Colt using metal in the gun’s construction.
It’s a stunning work of art, even sporting stylish engravings. The color scheme is just as beautiful. The handle is a soft, dark brown that accents the rest of the gun nicely. If you were to (illegally) remove the orange plastic tip, it’d be hard to tell this is an airsoft gun.
The magazine release is smooth and doesn’t get hung up like you sometimes find with cheaper models. We really like the design Colt went with here. The magazine houses both the BBs and the CO2 cartridge.
And for the ambidextrous, the safety lock works on both sides of the gun. Adding to the 1911’s realism is a safety trigger located on the back portion of the handle. This needs to be pressed in before the gun will fire. It’s another nice touch from Colt that mirrors the real 1911.
At just a little over 2 pounds, we found this to be the perfect weight for a beefy pistol like this one. It gives the gun a great level of balance and grip. It feels fun to handle, while not being overly heavy.
The Colt 1911’s magazine stores up to 14 BBs at a time. You can expect to get anywhere between 350 and 400 FPS.
Every function on the Colt 1911 works smoothly and precisely. Firing off rounds is a pure joy to experience. The all-metal design helps to make it easier to handle, as well.
Evike is known for producing some hyper-realistic airsoft artillery. And, boy, do they ever deliver with the VSR-10. This is a near-exact replica of the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 bolt-action sniper rifle. Aside from the federally-mandated orange tip, it’s easy to mistake this airsoft model for the real thing.
At 5 pounds, Evike constructed a solid, well-built airsoft sniper rifle that delivers all across the board. We took this one out for several field tests. And we must say, every part of it screams of quality.
The trigger assembly is made from aluminum-alloy and sports an adjustable trigger-break. The cylinder is sharp, polished aluminum, while the nozzle and cylinder head are made of brass. The aluminum helps to keep the gun lightweight. But we never felt that it was cheap or flimsy.
We can’t talk about this rifle without mentioning the stock. Evike coated it in a rubberized material that feels excellent. You get excellent grip, and it adds to the overall realistic feel of the gun.
Now, there are several models of the VSR-10, each varying in price. You can get just the rifle, with or without the bipod, and/or with or without the scope. And, there are models of each that sport either 450 FPS or 500 FPS.
As a sniper rifle, the magazine holds only 30 rounds. Depending on how competitively you play and for how long, you may want to invest in a secondary magazine. For less than $10, you can scoop up a 55-round magazine.
Talk about fast and responsive. The VSR-10 is a pleasure to fire. You will definitely want to get the scope and bipod to get the full effect intended with this sniper rifle.

This pistol has excellent balance, as well. We really appreciated this when testing it out. We had no trouble firing and reloading. The hammer does cock, as the P99 is a double-action pistol.
Umarex labels this gun at 320 feet per second. In our testing, we got slightly below that at around 300 to 315 feet per second. This is still a reasonable firing speed by our estimation. And thanks to the P99’s ergonomic handle, this action feels smooth and is highly-accurate.
Reloading is smooth and effortless, as well. Anyone who has experience with loading BBs knows that this can be a tricky affair. By Umarex using quality components, this is no longer a hassle. The magazine is sturdy and durable and is equipped with a slide-down catch.
One of the best features of the Walther P99 is its blowback. Just like its real-life counterpart, this pistol has a powerful kick with each shot fired. This helps give the gun a much more realistic feel.
With the Walther P99 Blowback’s firing action, you’ll feel like you’re shooting the real deal. Aside from the CO2 cartridge sometimes being bothersome, everything else works well. The balancing makes handling this pistol a dream.
If you’re fairly new to the world of airsoft guns and are looking to get your hands on an affordable but competent pistol, look no further than Taurus’ 24/7. If you’re unfamiliar with the mechanics of these guns, there’s no need to break the bank trying to learn the ropes.
Taurus used high-strength, durable ABS polymers in the construction of this replica. At just 1.6 pounds, it feels comfortable to hold and won’t strain your arms or hands during use. Firing is pretty accurate, too. You’ll have no trouble pelting targets from afar thanks to its powerful spring-loaded performance.
The drop-out magazine is sturdy and holds up to 24 rounds at a time. This is actually a really nice amount of capacity for an airsoft pistol. You’ll find it is more than enough to get your practice in.

Made for the beginner in mind, Taurus’ 24/7 is an excellent pistol to start out with. It certainly isn’t the most powerful shooter, but it doesn’t need to be. This ensures you’re getting an airsoft gun that is safe yet effective in helping you learn the ropes.
Let’s set the expectation right now. The CZ Scorpion is a mighty expensive airsoft gun. This replica of the real-life sub-machine gun is a powerful piece of airsoft artillery. It is likely better-suited for those with some experience under their belts.
It can fire up to 400 feet per second. In our testing, we were easily hitting upward of 380 feet per second. You can switch between three firing modes thanks to a fire selector on both sides of the gun. You get a three-round burst, semi-automatic, and fully-automatic.
We found each setting to deliver the goods without fail. You get a generous 75-round capacity magazine included. This releases easily with a press of a button on either side of the gun. We really appreciated the flared magazine. This helps tremendously in loading ammunition quickly. You’ll definitely have an advantage on the field.

When it comes to firing accuracy, the Kriss Vector delivers in spades. We had no problem plinking targets for afar in rapid succession. Shooting felt smooth and comfortable considering how much firepower we were working with.
To make this easier, KRYTAC installed a GEN II stock. This adds better comfort and precision when firing. You can even fold it for more personalized shooting. We also appreciated the adjustable DEFIANCE iron sightings. You can flip these up at any time for sharper aiming.

Its muzzle velocity is capable of expelling rounds at anywhere between 425 and 435 feet per second. There are two firing modes at the ready, those being semi-automatic and fully-automatic.
The magazine included has a staggering 500-round capacity. If you’re serious about your competitive airsoft games, the AK-104 is right up your alley. Each round is fired by a battery-powered system. It should be noted that neither the battery nor the charger are included.
For the size of gun you’re getting, the weight is more than acceptable. The AK-104 clocks in at 6.5 pounds. A folding stock gives you better versatility and balance.
